A Beefy-T is a heavyweight, relaxed cut and it runs roomy. The surest way to pick: take a t-shirt you already like the fit of, lay it flat, and measure it against the chest and length below. Want it closer to the body? Take your usual size.

Chest.
Laid flat, an inch below the armhole, straight across. That's half the way round — the smaller line is the whole circle, which is the number most people know their own chest by.
Length.
From the seam at the back of the neck straight down to the front hem.
Sleeve.
From the shoulder seam along the outer edge of the sleeve to the cuff.

These are the blank's measurements, so they're the same whichever design is on it. Every shirt is bleached by hand, so treat them as close rather than exact. If you end up between sizes or it turns up wrong, one size swap is free (you cover the postage back) — just ask.

We tested a stack of blanks before settling on one. The Hanes Beefy-T — a heavyweight classic since 1975 — beat every one of them.

  • Built to take the process. Heavyweight 6.1 oz cotton with taped shoulders and double stitched hems comes through bleaching, neutralizing, and washing without going thin or losing its shape.
